BlackNorth Initiative Alberta Chapter Event Recap: Forging New Connections July 10, 2024

The Calgary Stampede is officially in full swing, and last week, on July 2, 2024, the BlackNorth Initiative kicked off the celebrations with a remarkable event at the Calgary Petroleum Club. The event, centred around networking and forging new connections, truly embodied its theme. It provided Black professionals and students with an invaluable opportunity to connect with industry leaders from corporate Calgary, fostering relationships that will benefit their careers for years to come.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek for their unwavering support and for highlighting the importance of diversity in Alberta. Their presence underscored the significance of this event in promoting inclusivity within our professional networks.
